NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. water

Combine egg, water, and vinegar. Cut shortening into flour and salt. Pour liquid into flour; mix all at once. Blend until moistened. Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
