APPLE STACK CAKE 
4 c. flour
1 c. molasses
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all ingredients together like biscuit dough. Divide dough into 6 parts. Roll thin or pour in pan and bake at 400°F until brown. When cool, spread apple butter or applesauce between layers.
