WHITE ICING 
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
7 tbsp. water
3/4 tbsp. of vinegar

Put sugar into a small saucepan, add water and vinegar. Cook until a thread forms, then pour onto the beaten whites of 2 eggs and beat until cool enough to spread. Half a teaspoon of pistachio extract will give a delicious flavor to the icing.
