OVEN CARAMEL CORN 
6 qt. popped popcorn (2 c. raw)
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. each salt and baking soda

Remove any unpopped kernels from popcorn and put with nuts in greased, very large shallow baking pan. Put sugar, butter, syrup and salt in medium sauce pan, heat to boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda. Gradually but quickly pour mixture over popcorn, tossing with large wooden spoon to coat popcorn evenly. Bake at 200 degrees stirring every 15 minutes for a total cooking time of 1 1/2 hours. Cool on racks. Store in covered container.
