LEMON LOAF CAKE 
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour, buttermilk, soda, powder and extracts. Mix well with mixer. Grease and flour angel food pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
