CARAMEL NUT SLICES 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix thoroughly sugar, butter and eggs. Mix together flour, salt and soda. Blend in nuts. Stir together. Form into 2 rolls. Wrap in wax paper. Chill thoroughly. Bake at 400 degrees (moderately hot). Preheat oven. Cut in slices 1/8 inch thick. Place a little apart on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 12 dozen. I use liquid egg equivalent for no cholesterol.
