LASAGNE 
1 lb. lean pork sausage
1 lb. ground beef
28 oz. whole tomatoes
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. basil leaves
2 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
3 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella
16 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste

In large skillet, cook meats until brown; drain off fat. Add tomatoes. Stir in tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano leaves, and basil leaves. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and set aside. Use 1 cup of meat sauce, 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Alternate lasagne noodles, meat sauce, and cottage cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
