CABBAGE & GREEN BEANS 
4 slices bacon, cut in 1" pieces
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. chopped onion
3 c. cabbage, shredded
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can green beans, 1 lb. fresh are better

Cook bacon until crisp; drain grease. Add vinegar, sugar, onion, cabbage, fresh beans, salt and pepper. Cover, simmer 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Add grease if needed.
