CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUE BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine and pat into 9"x13" pan. Dough will be stiff. Over that put 1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts fried in 1/2 stick of butter. Beat 2 egg whites and gradually add 1 cup brown sugar. Spread over top as a meringue. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut in pieces when cool.
