MOM'S SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. walnuts
1 1/2 c. raisins, if desired or chopped nuts

Cream Crisco and brown sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Set in refrigerator overnight or a few hours. Drop from teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
