1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Add all ingredients. Chill for several hours. Roll out dough. Bake at 425 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until smooth.
