1 c. brown sugar
1 c. soft butter
3 eggs, well beaten
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. dates
6 slices candied pineapple
2 c. candied red and green cherries
7 c. nuts

In medium bowl cream together the sugar, butter and eggs. Set aside. In separate bowl combine flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Add to the creamed mixture. Blend well. Then add fruit and nuts. Drop by small teaspoon and bake for 15 minutes at 300°F.
