4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello (strawberry or lime)

Cream butter and vanilla, egg, sugar and Jello (add Jello last). Mix together well, add flour a little at a time. Pinch small amount of dough and shape into small balls and then flatten. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 7minutes. Makes about five dozen.
