HAWAIIAN SURFER'S CHEESE BALL 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. chopped green peppers
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 med. can drained, crushed pineapple
2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. parsley flakes (use more if desired)
Garlic salt to taste (about 1/4 tsp.)

Mix all of the ingredients except pecans and parsley flakes. Form into a ball. On wax paper, roll the cheese ball over the mixed pecans and parsley flakes to make a coating of pecans and parsley flakes on the outside of the ball. Chill and serve with your favorite party crackers. If refrigerated, it will stay fresh up to 3 to 4 days.
