DISAPPEARING MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. butterscotch chips 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. flour 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. chocolate chips 1/4 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch pan. Melt butterscotch chips and butter over low heat in a double boiler; cool. Pour butterscotch mixture in a large mixing bowl. Add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla and egg to cooled mixture, blending with a wooden spoon. Fold marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts into batter, using five strokes only. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not over-bake! Center will be jiggly, but becomes firm upon cooling. Cool on wire rack before cutting. |
