HAMBURGER CORN PAN PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. kidney beans, drained

Brown meat and onions in shortening. Add seasoning and tomatoes. Cook in covered dish over slow heat for 10 minutes. Add kidney beans. Pour into baking dish and cover top with thin corn bread batter. Bake for 20 minutes in 425 degree oven.
