LEMON BARS 
FIRST STEP:

1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine first step ingredients. Blend well. Pat dough into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

SECOND STEP:

4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Powdered sugar

Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Add the flour, salt and baking powder. Blend well. Pour over cooked pastry. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

THIRD STEP:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter, softened

Mix all ingredients together until smooth. When lemon bars are completely cooled, spread with lemon glaze. Cut into bars.
