GERMAN APPLE PANCAKE 
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter in 9 inch glass pie plate while preheating oven. In blender, combine all other ingredients. Pour into pie plate while in oven. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 or until golden brown. Break down center and fill with apple filling.

APPLE FILLING: Peel and core 3-4 apples and slice. Melt 1/3 cup butter in frying pan, add 1/3 cup sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, apples and cook 10 minutes until soft.

OTHER VARIATION: After melting butter in pie plate, sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded zucchini on butter, then pour on batter and bake. Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded cheese over pancake after removing from oven.
