ICED SHORTBREAD COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour

Mix butter and sugar thoroughly. Work in flour with hands. Chill dough. Heat oven to 275 degrees. Roll dough 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes. Ice with favorite icing.
