2 c. cooked beets
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash black pepper

Put beets through meat grinder. Drain well. Combine other ingredients over warm water (not boiling water). Heat beets separately. Add beets to other mixture when butter is melted. Keep covered on heating tray until served.
