BAKED PORK CHOP A LA BORDEAUX | |
4 heavy cut loin pork chops Salt Pepper 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/8 tsp. ground cloves 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/4 c. Bordeaux wine Spiced apples Dry chops and season with salt and pepper. Broil chops until golden on both sides; drain. Sprinkle chops with nutmeg and clove. Add brown sugar and wine to oven-proof casserole pan with chops and bake at 350 degrees covered for 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve garnished with spiced apples. |
