2 lb. hamburger 1 c. onion 1/2 c. tomato sauce 1 c. water 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Salt and pepper Saute hamburger and onion for 15 minutes. Add tomato sauce, cinnamon, 1 cup water, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook over medium heat uncovered for 15 minutes or until it thickens. Set aside. MACARONI MIXTURE: 2 lb. ready cut ziti 1/4 lb. melted butter 2 to 2 1/2 c. grated cheese 1 c. Ricotta cheese Salt Boil 1 pound macaroni for 5 minutes and drain well. Put in bowl and mix 1/2 of the ingredients. Arrange into a large well greased pan. Take cream sauce and spoon it to cover. Add hamburger mixture and pat firm. Take 2nd pound of macaroni and boil for 5 minutes, add remaining ingredients. Put on top of hamburger mixture. CREAM SAUCE: 1/4 lb. butter 1/ c. flour 1 qt. WARM milk 1 dozen eggs Salt |
