COLONIAL POTATO SOUP 
4 potatoes
3 c. milk
1 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
Cayenne pepper

Boil and mash potatoes. Brown the onion in butter; add flour, then potatoes, milk, and seasonings. Stir and heat until smooth. Serve sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated cheese. Serves 6.
