CURRIED ALMOND RICE PILAF | |
2 packets boil-in-the-bag rice 2 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. slivered almonds 3 tbsp. dried currants 3/4 tsp. curry powder Salt, to taste Cook rice according to package directions. Combine butter, almonds, currants and curry in a serving bowl. Add hot cooked rice and toss to combine. Add salt as desired. Makes 4 servings. Serve with chutney glazed ham steak and spicy cauliflower with tomatoes and peas. |
