GROUND ROUND STEAK PATTIES 
1 1/2 lbs. ground round
2 sm. onions, sliced
1 tbsp. flour, heaping

Form patties with a knife so as to not pack meat. Brown in hot butter. Remove from pan. Brown sliced onions in drippings. Add flour and make a gravy, adding a little water at a time. If not brown enough, add soy sauce. Place patties in gravy and simmer for about 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
