1 lb. ground round steak
2 c. tomatoes
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced celery
1 med. onion
1/4 c. rice or barley
2 qts. water
1 tbsp. salt

Combine and cook for a few hours.
