PEANUT BUTTER BALLS | |
24 oz. bag of Nestle Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 bar paraffin wax 2 cups peanut butter 4 cups powdered sugar 1 stick butter Double broiler (I use small pan of water underneath a larger pan) Wax paper Let butter soften Mix together peanut butter, sugar and butter. Then roll into preferred size balls and set in freezer allow at least 2 hours to freeze or until hardened. Fill bottom pan with 2 inches of water and melt chocolate and wax in top pan. (I find it easier to grade the wax or chop it into smaller pieces before hand.) Remove a few balls at a time so they don't get too soft and dip in chocolate. Then place on wax paper and allow at least 15 minutes before removing from paper. I suggest refrigerating them before serving but to each is own. :) Enjoy and Comments are appreciated! *May need to adjust peanut butter and butter mixture to get the right consistency to form into balls.
