ENGLISH WALNUT PIE 
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cake flour
1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. English walnuts
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Mix brown sugar and cake flour. Add sugar mixture to corn syrup, butter, and salt and warm over low heat. Beat together eggs and vanilla and add to syrup mixture. Add walnuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
