1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter (chunky)
6 c. Special K cereal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Place sugar and corn syrup in medium size saucepan. Stir to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and stir to melt and mix well. Pour this mixture over the cereal (in a large bowl for ease in mixing). Stir well until cereal is evenly coated. Press mixture firmly and evenly into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool. Melt chocolate and butterscotch pieces together in top of double boiler over hot water, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand in cool place until firm. Cut into pieces.
