CHOCO BANANA BARS 
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 c. Kellogg's All Bran cereal
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Melt chocolate morsels. Remove from heat and cool. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.

Measure butter, sugar, bananas, eggs, milk, All Bran and chocolate into mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts, beat until combined.

Spread in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 25 minutes or until done. Cool in pan. Frost if you like with a creamy chocolate frosting. Cut into bars. Makes 36 (2 x 1 1/2 inch) bars.

Note: 1 cup Bran Buds cereal may be substituted for All Bran if desired.
