BANANA OAT BARS 
3/4 c. soft butter
1 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (5 medium bananas)
4 c. uncooked regular oats
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, salt, and bananas. Stir in remaining ingredients and turn into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour or until cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely and cut into 2 x 1 inch bars. Yields 58.
