CHOCOLATE BANANA BARS 
2 3/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. sliced bananas (2 lg.)
3/4 c. real butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. each baking powder & baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)

Grease and flour 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. In 3 quart mixer bowl, combine all bar ingredients except chocolate. Beat at low speed, scraping sides of bowl often, until well mixed (2-3 minutes). Stir in chocolate pieces.

Spread into prepared pan. Bake near center of 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely and frost.

FROSTING:

4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. real butter, softened
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla.

Mix completely until creamy and fluffy (2-3 minutes). Yields 4 dozen. (You can shave chocolate into small pieces and sprinkle over frosted banana bars.
