MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained

Combine all ingredients for cake in a large mixing bowl. Mix well with electric mixer for 2-3 minutes. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and top with glaze.

GLAZE:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk

Combine ingredients for glaze in a small saucepan and cook until bubbly. Pour glaze over cake; the glaze will soak down through the cake.
