2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk (or sour milk)
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt and bring to boil butter, cocoa and water. Add to sugar, flour, baking soda and salt mixture. Add to buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Bake in a cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 350 to 375 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk (or sour milk)
1 box confectioners sugar
Vanilla

Mix all ingredients and spread on cake. Sprinkle with nuts.
