PEANUT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. Spanish peanuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine dry ingredients; set aside. Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy. Blend in peanut butter. Gradually add dry ingredients. Stir in peanuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls or #100 scoop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes.

Makes 7-8 dozen.
