“CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES” IS IN:

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 eggs
1/3 cups soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
3 cups flour
1-12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Mix all ingredients except chocolate and nuts. Next, stir in the chocolate and nuts.

Drop by the teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet.

Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes — until light brown. One 6 oz. pkg. butterscotch bits can be used instead of or added in place of some of the chocolate chips.
