SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
8 tbsp. melted butter
1 pt. oysters
Salt and pepper
Dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp. parsley (optional)
1/4 c. oyster liquid
2 tbsp. milk

Combine crackers and butter. Put thin layer of crumbs in baking dish. Alternate layers of crumbs and oysters and seasoning. (2 layers of oysters). Pour oyster liquid and milk over top with crumbs. Bake in hot 450 degree oven for 30 minutes. For variety, substitute mushroom soup for all liquid.
