LEMON LOAF 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Grated rind of 1 lemon (1 1/2 - 3 tbsp.)

Mix all ingredients except lemon rind with mixer. Add lemon rind and mix by hand. Bake 50 minutes 350 degrees in a nut bread pan.

TOPPING:

Juice of 1 lemon (2-3 tbsp.)
1/2 c. sugar

Pour over top as soon as you take it out of the oven.
