BLACK WALNUT FUDGE 
3 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. butter
9 oz. Carnation milk
1/2 c. black walnut meats

Mix first four ingredients in a 3 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat to 240 degrees (236 degrees is soft ball stage). Remove from heat and cool. Beat until it loses its gloss, then add nuts and pour into a 9 x 13 inch buttered pan.
