CHILLY-NIGHT CHILI 
1 lb. hamburger
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 or 2 cans kidney beans, depends how many you feed
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chili powder (more to your taste)
Ripe olives if they are handy

Brown meat and onions in a little butter and cook until meat is brown, about 10 minutes. Add everything else, then let it simmer covered about 1/2 hour. The more you have to heat it up after this the better it becomes. This is a good cheap classic chili recipe that's easy to remember because it is one of everything.
