PUMPKIN DESSERT 
6 eggs
1 lg. can pumpkin (not pie mix)
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. evaporated milk (one 12 oz. can and add regular milk to make 2 c.)
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
8 oz. carton Cool Whip
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer. Add pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and milk; mix well. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Pour cake mix into a mixing bowl. Cut in butter as if for pie crust. Sprinkle evenly over pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool. When ready to serve, top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts. You may never want pumpkin pie again!
