APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 cans crescent rolls (16 rolls)
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Granny Smith apples
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
12 oz. Mountain Dew

Peel and core apples and make 32 slices. Unroll crescent rolls (16). On each roll, place 2 slices of apple; roll up and place in a 9 x 13 pan. Melt the butter. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Spoon over dumplings. Pour Mountain Dew around dumplings.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes longer.
