APPLE DUMPLINGS 
3 (9-inch) pie crusts
12 medium apples, peeled and cored
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine sugar, water, butter and cinnamon in medium saucepan. Heat to a boil, then set aside.

Quarter each pie crust, making 12 wedge-shaped pieces in all (4 from each pie shell). Wrap each apple in a wedge of pie crust and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan with the folded edges down. Slowly pour sugar-water mixture over each wrapped apple. Use all of mixture.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes in 350°F oven until pie crust is golden brown.

Delicious served warm with ice cream!
