QUICK SPANISH BEEF-RICE | |
1/4 c. oil 1 med. onion, sliced 1/2 med. green pepper, chopped 1 lb. ground beef 1 c. regular rice, uncooked Dash of pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 3/4 c. hot water 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. prepared mustard Heat oil in skillet. Add onion, green pepper, beef and rice. Stir over heat until slightly browned. Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Mix well, bring quickly to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 25 minutes. 1/2 cup grated cheese may be added just before serving. |
