SUKIYAKI 
2 lbs. beef, oven roast
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. sugar, granulated
1/4 tsp. pepper, black
1 can mushrooms, sliced
6 green onions
1 can bean sprouts
1/4 c. shortening, melted
Celery, fresh diagonally 1/8 inch cut
Onions, dry, sliced
1 sweet pepper

Slice beef 1/8 inch thick, 2 inches long; set aside until later. Combine soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and mushrooms; set aside until later. Add shortening or salad oil to pans. Add celery to hot shortening, saute 1 1/2 minutes stirring constantly. Add beef strips and continue to stir, frying for 1 1/2 minutes.

Add onions; stir fry for 1 1/2 minutes. Add green peppers, stir frying 1 minute. Add mushroom sauce mixture, green pepper, green onions, and bean sprouts. Continue stir frying 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Serve immediately.
