MRS. FIELD'S COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips
4 oz. Hershey bar, grated
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; set aside. Put small amounts of the oatmeal in blender until it turns to powder (turn all of the oatmeal - 2 1/2 cups - to powder). To the powder, add flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture; mix well. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar, and nuts. Make golf ball sized cookies, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
