MY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. unbleached all purpose flour
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 1/4 c. Mrs. Fields chocolate chips, semi sweet

Cream butter and peanut butter. Gradually add brown sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flours, soda and nutmeg; add to the creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Makes 7 dozen.
