BUTTERHORNS 
(2) 1 c. milk, scalded
(2) 1 c. butter
(1) 1/2 c. sugar
(2) 1 tsp. salt
(2) 1 cake (sm.) yeast
(9) 4 1/2 c. flour
(4) 2 eggs

Add butter, sugar, salt to hot milk, cool to lukewarm. Add yeast. Stand 3 minutes. Add 2 cups flour, beat well. Add eggs and remaining flour. Knead to smooth. Rise to double. Make horns. Rise 1 hour. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes. Cool and frost.
