2 c. sifted flour 1/2 lb. butter 1 egg yolk 3/4 c. sour cream 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. chopped nuts Cut flour into butter with fingertips. Then add egg yolk and sour cream. Dough will be very soft and sticky. Flour hands and pat dough into rectangular form. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight. Next morning divide dough into 3 parts. Roll out one part at a time. Roll into a circle on well floured board. Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle 1/3 of mixture on dough. Cut into wedges and roll up starting with large end. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. You should get 24 small cookies out of each circle. |
