BUTTERHORNS 
1/2 lb. cream cheese
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together butter and cream cheese, add flour. If dough is sticky add more flour. Divide dough into 4 or 5 small balls. Chill 1/2 hour. Roll out each ball separately and sprinkle with mixture of walnuts, sugar and cinnamon cut as you would a pie. Roll each piece start with wide end. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with egg yolk. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly brown. Freeze very well.
